Kite Surfing Photographs Fistral Beach Newquay Cornwall

I managed to get onto the beach today and photograph some guys out kite surfing, which really did look amazing fun and i would love to give this a go, although i will definitely be waiting until the weather warms up as my fingers still have not defrosted from being down on the beach taking pictures.

Unfortunately i did not manage to photograph the surf school at Fistral Beach today but will be meeting up with the guys again there very soon to photograph their lesson.

I will be photographing down on Fistral beach Cornwall tomorrow, taken snaps of the Quicksilver surf school in action so expect some fun pictures tommorrow of the very brave folks learning to surf.

Shall be glad to warm and dry on the beach with my camera and not in the water BRRRR

I'm Back

After processing 43,000 photographs from the old computer to the new one i am back online, and hoping to get out this weekend and shoot some pictures this weekend, so will have new images on the blog soon.

Technical issues

I'm having a few technical problems this week with changing computer operating systems and backing up all my photography work 40,000 images in one year!!!!! so i will be a bit quiet on my blog lately.

Luckily i'm still taking lots of pictures and as soon as everythings running on the funky new system and funky software i will be posting lots of exciting new stuff.

Had a lovely walk on Great Western Beach in Newquay Cornwall today and photographed those brave enough to go in the rather big cold waves for a surf.

Had a lovely day today at the Watergaet Bay hotel and am looking forward to photographing a wedding there in April this year.

Faces of Porthleven Photography

absolutely loving the photographs taken by David Penprase and his wife Jan, for a charity book to raise money for the precious lives appeal which is raising money for a childrens hospice here in cornwall, and whats really inspiring is all the photographs were taken from their garden shed and the pictures are stunning.

The two photographers have spent 18 months photographing Porthleven locals to create the book, and the pictures are being exhibited at the customs house gallery this month and i can't wait to go and see this exhibition.

I'm feeling really inspired to photograph abandoned places, and am hoping the weather holds off for me to get out this weekend, it sounds a bit of a strange subject but after seeing some really amazing abandoned places photography shots i'm hoping to get out this weekend and create some of my own Urban Exploration pictures.

Wedding Season is nearly here

With the nights drawing out and the mornings most definately getting lighter spring is certainly around the corner, and so is the season to be getting married.
